We had our gas service cut off in August because I fell behind in the bills.  I’ll need a $190 deposit to get the service back.  Maybe that wouldn’t be so bad except the microwave broke last year.  We’ve had to eat at McDonald’s most nights, and cold cereal for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch.

The question is, what will we do for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

Everything went to pieces when I lost my job in January.  I just started a new job last week, but was unemployed all those months.  That’s how I got behind in bills, earned bad credit, and had to do without some pretty basic stuff.  A car repair cost $450 – but try getting to work without a car. The gas bill just had to slide.

I really can’t see putting in $190 just to get the gas service back.  I saw a convection-microwave oven at WalMart over by the Falcon Airport for $198.  These run on electricity and you can cook turkeys and other foods in them like with a gas oven.

But I still needed about $200 for the microwave – where would it come from?  I went online and looked for “Christmas loans” and “fast cash” and “are car title loans available in Arizona?” when I stumbled on Car Title Loans in Mesa.  I found my Pontiac (paid for three years ago) could get me a loan for more than $400.  It was fast, easy and didn’t involve standing in line somewhere (online application, took 15 minutes). The money was in my bank account in one day.  The first night I made a chicken and sweet potatoes, so much healthier than Wendy’s and McDonald’s.

Loans on car title work when you you need cash.  This helps me make for the best Christmas possible.
