I haven’t been the same since I found out. It was quite some time ago that my wife got breast cancer but I haven’t been the same. I have been very depressed, which is unusual because she is constantly trying to bring hope to me. She has to try to talk me into feeling better. But in the end I need her and I know it. I just try to do everything I can for her so she can recover.

That’s why this month was a big worry. I wasn’t sure if I’d have the money to pay the insurance premiums. if I missed a month than the rates would skyrocket. I couldn’t afford to miss a month. I also don’t have the kind of credit I would need to get a loan from the bank. And that would require a long credit check.

I know that this was a good decision. The money I get now saves me a lot later on.
